”Home” in COMO Shambhala Estate
Since COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali is supposed to deliver homey-like vacation, of course the resort is design to resemble everybody’s house as close as possible. Alright, the outside is pretty grand. The swimming pool is accompanied with a shaded wooden veranda that is in set with the day bed placed under the white umbrellas. There is also a hidden massaging room in the “forest” of the resort. Moreover, there is another swimming pool that circles three fourth of a gazebo, with two dry trees decorate the front of the gazebo as if they are the guardians. The resort is pretty luxurious, is it not?
However, the inside is just like any other homes. The white open air living room is decked with couches of the same color (white), but they are supported with polished wooden frames. Another set of living room is placed across the white couches, but unlike the first one, the second set has wooden coffee tables. Though the bedroom is located all the way at the end and surrounded by glass walls, the fact that the bed is just a white bed decorated with green pillows cannot be denied. Despite of the grand outer appearance, the resort does give the home-like vibe for its guests.
